3 Ideas to Stand Out with Personalised Products

3 Ideas to Stand Out with Personalised Products

When you think of printing the first things that usually jump into your mind are; essays, flyers, posters, etc, but the world of printing is not limited to just paper. In fact if you take the time to look around you may be surprised about what is actually a printed product; that mug you’re drinking your coffee out of, the inspirational wall in the office, that small bag of branded gifts you were given when starting uni.

In this article I have broken down three different types of printing options you can use to make your brand stand out from the crowd. No matter what sector or business you are in.

Give a gift. Everyone loves a present

This may seem pretty standard, the key point however is to get your brand out there. When I started in Helloprint, I was given a selection of branded items, ranging from pens, to doppers and even a backpack. This means not only is the brand in my face everyday, but also for every other soul on the 7:30am commute to work.

But what kind of promos or gifts should you giveaway? Focus on practicality. Which items are going to be used the most or standout the most? This is why pens are such a popular choice; being both affordable and likely to swap hands. I’m bet you can think of at least one person who still has that pen of yours. Wouldn’t it be great if that pen, which let’s face it you’re never going to get back, had your brand printed on it? (this principle also works for lighters). Umbrellas are another useful giveaway. Not only practical for receivers, they also turn into a walking advertisement for your brand.

Of course you shouldn’t limit yourself with the classics, have a look here for our full range of give-away items and see what you can come up with.

Clothes make the man/woman

Speaking of standing out, what stands out more than what you are literally wearing? Of course this means that you need to have an attractive design, or else people aren’t going to want to be seen wearing it. Maybe this will help?

I would recommend focusing on clothing that can be used all year round, don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with a good T-shirt, but it gets cold in winter and who wants to turn on the thermostat? Therefore, why not create a hoodie that can be comfy, stylish and of course show off your brand? Printed hoodies have the advantage of being able to be worn throughout the year and have both the front and back printed.

Starting with a gorgeous printed hoodie, you can then create your own branded clothing line, ready to combat whatever the weather feels like throwing at you that day.

In the comfort of your home

Why not leave your mark on the more innocuous, but everyday items. In order to stand out, you do have to think out of the box a bit. Sure, you can have walls plastered with posters, or have offensively large billboards that eclipse the skyline, but what about having your name where people sit to eat and fend off a day’s worth of hangryiness?
Use placemats to enter people’s very hearts (via their stomachs) or have printed glassware so it’s your name brandished on that glass that will definitely get washed up in a minute.

But what do you guys think? Have you tried any of these out? How did it go? If you have any opinions, please let me know in the comments below
